In the early fifties a Swiss invented the first wand mixer and
called it bamix®, the magic wand (in Germany called
"der ZAUBERSTAB®, der Hausfrau"). With more than
7 million units sold in all 5 continents, bamix® is
certainly the most successful kitchen machine of its kind.
ESGE AG (Ltd.), bamix® of Switzerland is a small
but very dynamic company specialized in the production of electrical
wand mixers.
The company philosophy has always been to produce versatility,
simplicity and quality.
The heart of bamix® is the motor which is specifically designed for
this type of appliance and is produced entirely in our own factory.
Our factory is equiped with the most modern standard of machinery.
Every single bamix® is hand tested before it leaves the factory.
 The bamix® headquarters and production
facilities are located in Mettlen, a small village in the
countryside of the German speaking part of Eastern Switzerland
(5 km off Weinfelden - 60 km east of Zürich - direct train
connection Zürich Airport-Weinfelden).
